In my opinion, the liquid on the ground looks too flat in comparison to the size of the drop. The materials themselves look good, though.

Denoiser

Hey Simlab

I would love to see a denoiser built into the rendering engine. Blender uses the intel and nvidia denoiser and their perfomance is absolutely phenomenal. It could reduce render time by a huge amount!

1. 90'000 parts is a lot. Did you create the original file in a CAD Software? If yes, you should first strip down the file directly in your CAD: - Remove all parts that can't be seen - Simplify small parts like screws etc. - Change small round fillets to facets Then import it with a coarse tesselati...

And here's another render. The 3D Model is from Sketchfab, the HDRI from hdrihaven.com

Unfortunately the textures seems to dissapear in the render, when choosing metal as material type.

Thanks, I do that already. It would just be a little bit more convenient to have it shown at the end. (But I guess there are more important features than this one :mrgreen: )

Hello everyone I have a very little feature request. Right now, the render time disappears, as soon as the render is finished. So, if I leave the PC for 30 minutes and come back to a completely rendered image, I don't know if it took 15min 20min or 30min. It would be nice, if the time of the finishe...

I'm not a big exprt myself and I still don't fully understand, but I hope it still helps... :-) - Go to the UV-menu and choose a projection method (I guess in you case "box" might be the right choice. - Click run - click on the blue dot in the middle of the object and rotate and move it to the right...

Does you model have a special UV-map, or are you using one of the "normal" projection methods (plane, ball, etc.)?
