I get those too, sometimes in strange places and they don't always completely clear out with time. For me, using the fast path tracer instead of the MIS Path Tracer usually helps gets rid of them.

Fireflies show up in cases where light is reflected from a specular (or almost specular)surface into diffuse surfaces.

Fast path tracer is your first (and usually best) line of defense.
Other than that, you can try using matte material more often in your scene, because it doesn't have a specular component like plastic material for example, or instead, increase the roughness of plastic material since that decreases the specular component.

Let us know if the above ideas help your renders.

On some pictures I have done where fireflies are a problem I have used the "despeckle" filter in gimp, it works great sometimes other times not so great.

Hello together, i have changed the most materials from default to matte and it looks mutch better. Seems to be the right solution for this.

@neilr: To use gimp for this would be my next step. I´ll try it soon - thx for your tip !

Looks like I'm having some kind of 'black-hole' flies.
Allmost all materials are Matte, also tried with all the reflecting materials and lights hidden, but still.
* No textures were used.

Any sugestions?
