Sort

I was just thinking that the ability to select an assembly in the tree and sort it's constituent elements alphabetically would be nice. The current project I have has alot of the same part but they are scattered throughout the assembly and it would be nice to have them grouped together so I can select them all and apply a material.....not a priority just a thought.

Nice idea. Grouping them like that would be useful for creating a BOM as well.

It would also be good if it were possible to sort by number. If you have a model where each item is tagged with a part number, it would be a great way for someone to use it as a look-up to locate the part (as long as they knew the part number of course!)
