Medieval Barn 360 Rendered Pano VR

Post by Tessla » Tue Jun 30, 2020 10:15 am

Hi..We would add and render more VR Cameras, but it took 8 hours to render one image.. 4000 X 2000 1.6mb.. Perhaps our settings are wrong.. The rendered pano looks kind of real.. We will create one pano VR Grid to see how it looks, then post it up..

Well... A WebGL VR is a bit stiff in its movements.. Don't use the Full Screen, it will not do wide angle and might lockup. Not sure if its something we have done wrong..

Looks good, i like the bumpy mud, but a bit still too repetitive :)

Just bump map or bump + normal?

The thing about large areas, it can look a bit repetitive using Simlab textures. When we have a ground plane that flows into a sky, there is often a hard edge from the area.. But if we make the area object bigger, the files size goes way up... If we reduce the scale of the texture, it can look more like mud tiles and even more repettitive.. The only other option is to make custom large textures, to reduce the repetitiveness.. Then higly optimise the texture image to try to reduce the file size..

Did you check out the VR Package of this barn yet...
