Re: V8.2 for Christmas....????
Hi, I have formed my software plan for the next three years. There was no place for SL there. It's a pity, but I'll follow all SL's innovations and wait for 10+ versions. At the moment I took advantage of the Black Friday offers. I updated my KeyShot to version 7 and purchased an additional node for...

Re: texture mapping request
In general, SL's UV tool is good. Only few problem: this tool is not intuitive enough, result is sometimes not predictable, not correct cylinder mapping. If I use a normal texture without color texture, then it is generally impossible to control. The result can be seen only in real-time rendering mo...

Re: Displacement Map Support
Thanks. Good to know. I dare to assume that it will be summer/autumn 2018.

Alpha & Strangth Values
This is of course a trifle. I have long been accustomed to it. But I believe that this is not correct and may be the cause of misunderstandings. If I change the glass material to another(plastic, metal etc...), the alpha value becomes 0,74. What is the point? slider1.jpg It's not entirely clear why ...

Displacement Map Support
This test rendering is done with SL. I like droplets. But if they were hanging on the sides it would be much more better.
Do you plan to implement support of displacement map? Thanks.

Re: Multilayer material
It is a very good suggestion. But I'm afraid that when this is realized I'll be retired. Let's wait for something more simple.

Re: Portable Fold House
Very cool work. How did you make the sky? Trees are a mesh? Can you post screenshots of the SL scene?

Re: Carbon road bike
Very good work. I like the frame of the bike. I tried to imagine how you did it. Cool rendering. Honestly, the black details are bit lost with this background and illumination. I like the wrapper on the handlebars. This part is UV mapped or did the texture simple fit well? In the current SL version ...

Re: Scene States Oddities
In fact, in this thread we are talking about Scene State Capture. Not Screen Capture. Scene States feature is saving the attributes of the current scene(global camera orientation, position and transformation of objects, rendering settings etc...) Please...
