3D PDF texture resolution

I'm all of a sudden having problems with the texture resolution when making a 3D PDF - see below (Rhino on the left, 3D PDF on the right) - I don't see any relevant options for this other than "Preserve Images Original Resolution" which I have checked. Also, when I try to sync it with Simlab Composer it has the same problem. It seems like this has just started happening to me???? I've tried this on two different computers, using both v3.2 and v3.3.2.
