I am wondering if there is any indication of when the 3DsMax USDZ exporter will support exporting skeletons?

USDZ Skeleton support should be included in Composer 10, soon after the release of Composer 10 we will update the plugin to support Skeleton in USDZ

Thanks for the update, we will keep an eye out for Composer 10 and the eventual plugin upgrade.

Hello
I tried the usdz exporter from 3dsmax 2020, it does export the current pose (including morph facial pose)
but its not carrying any animation over when viewed on iphone 11 quicklook.
Is this limitation with quicklook or am I exporting incorrectly?

We added this support to SimLab Composer 10, it is still not available in the plugin.

Hello, whats the limitation on importing an FBX into composer?
Every time I import into composer it crashes.
This is a character with biped and about 5k polys, 1 texture and has morph targets too.
So I tried a simple box skinned with 2 bones in 3dsmax, export to fbx with animation, import into
sim lab composer 10 v10.6 Trial. Export to USDZ, then try to open on iphone 11 and file is not recognized.
Do you have a guide to making this work you can share please?

Currently rigid body transforms and skeleton based animation are supported, morphing is not.

Skeleton animation is currently only supported in SimLab Composer no in plugins
